ABOUT SEA SCOUTS

ADVENTURE • SEAMANSHIP • LEADERSHIP

Sea Scouts, for young men and women ages 14 through 20, is a youth leadership development program built around sailing. Ship 7992 meets weekly at the Port Washington Yacht Club. During the summer, the action moves onto the water, sailing a variety of vessels, from Olympic class 420 boats to large keel boats.

The program is supported by Port Washington Yacht Club volunteers and provides a welcoming and safe environment for youth to explore boating, leadership, and teamwork.
